The Revitalization of my Life-Day 50

Once again, I had thoughts on my mind and I decided to get up extra early and go let them out. I am at Starbucks right now writing. I don't have to be to work until 8:30, so I am putting in an hour before I put in eight hours. It's a sacrifice that I make that I will make my life better whether it is by way of monetary value or just plain ol' happiness. Either way, I win. It's hard to lose when you are doing something you love to do because you're not doing it for money you're doing it because it makes you happy. If you just so happen to get paid for it, that's a perk.

I am kind of piggy-backing from what I posted yesterday. No one will understand until you have something to show for all the time you spent doing whatever it is that you do. But always remember, it's not about them, it's about you. Too often we try to do what everyone else is doing trying to make a quick dollar. When this happens, there is no passion in what we do, we are only looking to gain a small fortune temporarily. STOP! Stop running behind someone else's dream and start chasing your own. If you think it won't happen, guess what, IT WON'T! You have to believe in whatever you do. It's just like when you are living with your parents and want so bad to have your own home so that you can do things the way you want to do them. This is how you have to be about your dreams and what you want to do in life. People looked at me like I was crazy when I told them that I wanted to write poetry. They told me that there was no money in this market and I believed them so I stop writing it and started trying to write other things. Well, I found myself struggling to write because my niche was poetry. It was easy to me. I could sit and write four to five poems a day and more than that if I had the day off. When I couldn't write anything else, I went back to writing poetry and started believing in my work. The magic never happens until you believe in what you are passionate about. People were very receptive to my work. They loved my words and I loved them loving them.

Don't try to ride someone else's dream, create your own and make it happen. Don't let anyone tell you that what you want to do is crazy; try it to see if it is crazy for yourself. I know that I am not a millionaire and I really don't have anything to show you that I made it but one thing I do have that some millionaires don't have and that's happiness. I am happy doing what I do because what I do makes others happy and it inspires them to keep going and never give up no matter how bad it gets. Keep pushing and eventually you will find yourself pulling.
